Paulo Seifer

Paulo Seifer is an Engineer and holds a PhD from the Graduate Program in Energy at the Federal University of ABC, in the area of Environment and Society. He has dedicated the latter to research on Territorial Development, investigating factors that can lead to rural development in territories that have large infrastructures, as well as the relationship between these megaprojects and the territories. The main area of activity is the Territorial Development of Rural Areas, having researched in the Cerrado, Semi-arid and Pampas. He worked in the evaluation of intervention programs, in the development of indices and methodologies, both with quantitative, qualitative and mixed techniques. More recently, he served as a UNDP consultant for the infrastructure area in the SDG acceleration project for the state of Piauí, Agenda 2030 – SDG/PI. Among others, he worked with institutions such as the World Bank, UNDP, Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning – CEBRAP, Greenpeace, Imaflora and Fundación Avina.

Ariane Favareto

PhD in Social Sciences by the Graduate Program in Development, Agriculture and Society at the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (CPDA/UFRRJ), where she defended the thesis on gender social relations and contemporary rural dynamics. He holds a master's degree in Planning and Sustainable Rural Development from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), whose dissertation brings an analysis of social action in metropolitan territory, and a bachelor's and degree in Social Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (PUCCamp), where he began scientific research on the subject of rural women. She works as a researcher on rural development, social gender relations and territorial development. She works as a consultant for international and national organizations and government agencies. She is a collaborating researcher at the Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning (Cebrap) - Sustainability Nucleus.

John Matias Wojciechowski

John Matias Wojciechowski is an economic development consultant. With more than 20 years of practical experience in the areas of collaborative governance, territorial development, rural-urban relations, emancipatory pedagogies, sustainable short chains, food system transitions and sustainability narratives. His analytical experience spans qualitative social research analysis, participatory value chain mapping, collaborative action research methods, and appreciative inquiry. He has had a direct role in the development and execution of several bilateral projects, including short, medium and long-term cooperation programs - with extensive experience in applying Results-Based Management (RBM) methods and participatory planning in international contexts. His experience with the development of public policies covers the three federative levels (municipal, state and federal), and the following sectors: coastal development, artisanal fisheries, value chains, rural tourism, metropolitan governance and solidarity economy. He is Anattá's specialist in training through the development and delivery of courses and training workshops for technical and managerial personnel in the public sector, as well as participatory economic feasibility studies for family entrepreneurs, associations and cooperatives.
